Climate READY is a service program within the AmeriCorps network. To be eligible for AmeriCorps, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a comprehensive criminal history check.  

Work effectively with people of various backgrounds and cultures.  

Demonstrate a high degree of respect and sensitivity, particularly in conversations with community members about difficult subjects like the costs of flood damage, and when assessing residents' homes for climate crisis impacts.  

Communicate professionally with program staff and community partners and respond promptly to email during scheduled work hours.
