Biography

In October 2023, Dr. Tran joined the Center of Urban Studies. Her principal role centers on the development and meticulous execution of research methodologies aimed at assessing diverse program outcomes, including those serving children and students with special needs. She also collaborates closely with fellow researchers at the Center to uphold standards of excellence in data collection and management.

Before joining the Center, Dr. Tran gained extensive experience through involvement in several projects that centered on the application of rigorous research methodologies to elucidate insights across various domains. Her research areas spanned diverse subjects such as positive mentoring outcomes, social-emotional skills in adolescents, work-life balance, mental health, and well-being. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Social and Health Psychology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in International Economics, from Colorado State University.
