Biography

 Abigail Savarino earned her B.A in Psychology with a minor in Sociology in 2019 from Bowling Green State University and continued her education at BGSU to pursue her Master’s in Public Administration. During her time at BGSU, Abigail had the opportunity to work with the NASA Plum Book Station, Project Connect, Bowling Green’s Park and Recreation Department, the Black Swamp Arts Festival, and the Charles Young Foundation in Toledo. After graduating from BGSU with her MPA in the spring of 2021, Abigail joined the Center for Urban Studies as a Research Assistant where she focuses on the Detroit Lead Technical Study and the DLEAD Cleaning Study Project. Abigail resides in Howell, Michigan and is passionate about public health, providing social justice services, and studying populations through research and observation.
