Biography
Courtney's journey with the (AMUS) began after serving four terms as a member. She rejoined the Center in 2022 and continued her service as a public health and safety advocate, most recently as a Research Technician.
Ms. Dent currently serves as a program coordinator for the Water Filtration Project and the Healthy Seniors project. She conducts comprehensive surveys among community members to gather data for several studies and projects supported by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Marathon Petroleum Company, Michigan State Police, and the Skillman Foundation.
Detroit born and raised, Courtney holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from Michigan State University, and is continuing her education at Wayne State to pursue her master's in Sports Administration.
Her passions include working with youth, coaching volleyball, yoga, and spending time with family and friends!
