Biography
Asmara Ruth Afework joined the Center for Urban Studies in 2008. At the Center, she has managed several program evaluation studies, providing organizations with both summative assessment, to help them understand whether their programs have achieved their intended outcomes, and formative feedback, to allow for program improvement. She also provides technical assistance to organizations conducting their own evaluations and has coordinated several data collection efforts, including multi-mode surveys and focus groups. She currently serves as Program Manager for the Center's evaluation of the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council's Five Year State Plan.
