Data Processing Student Assistant
Wayne State University’s Center for Urban Studies (cus.wayne.edu) is looking for a Federal Work-Study Student Data Processing Assistant.
Job Description
- Set up office for mail processing:
- Create and organize filing folders
- Create survey templates for data processing
- Process and organize incoming mail:
- Check in completed surveys
- Record bad addresses and forwarding addresses across database
- Identify, follow-up-with, and file survey notes
- Scan surveys
- Verify scanned surveys
Candidate Profile
- The job and all trainings are in-person.
- Ability to follow all standard operating and project-related procedures and pay attention to detail.
- Must be able to focus on relevant tasks and work shift hours as required.
- Solid work ethic and reliable.
- Strong computer skills; experience with a Windows-based system and Microsoft Office suite.
- Good communication skills.
Details
Starting Date: March – September 2025
Hours: 15-20 hours per week (up to 30 hours per week if off semester)
Pay: $12.50 - $15 per hour, depending on experience
