Ramona Rodriguez-Washington holds a Masters in Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University. Her areas of professional expertise include survey research, program evaluation, grant writing and program management. Ms. Rodriguez-Washington joined the University’s Center for Urban Studies as student assistant in 2006, and participated in the development and implementation of the Part B Parent Survey of Special Education for the Michigan Department of Education. She joined the full-time research staff in 2006. Ms. Rodriguez-Washington continues as lead researcher on the Part B Parent Survey, and serves as Learning Coordinator for the Center for Urban Studies Learning Community. She has been Program Director for the Center’s AmeriCorps Urban Safety Program since its beginning in 2010.
