Jonathan Lomotey, Ph.D.
Dr. Lomotey has over 15 years’ experience in community development and social research. He specializes in community based research, program development, and program evaluation. His research and action interests are in the areas of health and mental health promotion, HIV and AIDS education and prevention, and family, youth and children’s development. Dr. Lomotey believes in research that leads to action. He views research as a tool for bringing about change and improving the lives of marginalized populations. Dr. Lomotey works with marginalized communities and community based organizations to identify areas of need and develop innovative solutions. He has extensive experience in community engagement and mobilization, and system change initiatives. Dr. Lomotey has over 30 publications, including peer reviewed journal articles and technical reports.
