Michelle Carolan, MSW
Grant Writing & Develoment Specialist
Michelle assumed her role at the Center as a Grant Writing & Development Specialist in September 2018. Her work is currently focused on some of the Center’s vital efforts, including opioid overdose prevention.
Michelle graduated in May 2018 from Wayne State University with her Master of Social Work with a concentration in macro social work. While completing her graduate studies, she worked as a student assistant for WSU's School of Social Work on a federally funded, multi-site study on youth and dating violence. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Psychology, also from WSU. Michelle gained skills in grant writing, policy analysis, data collection and data analysis through her studies, work, and internships.
