Matthew Case, MPA
Early Childhood & Disabilities
From 2015 to 2017, Matthew worked first as research manager and then as interim director of the Survey Research Office at the University of Illinois Springfield. In his capacity as interim director, he served as PI or co-PI on several state and federally-funded research projects. Prior to working at the Survey Research Office, Matthew worked on comprehensive plans for the Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission. He has substantial experience with questionnaire design, survey programming, and managing mixed-mode surveys.
Matthew earned a BA in philosophy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Public Administration for (MPA) from UIS. He served as the secretary for the American Society for Public Administration Central Illinois Chapter from 2015-2017. Matthew’s research interests include survey mode effects and how diversity impacts social trust.
