I began working part time at the Center for Urban Studies in December of 2015 and recently became a full time research assistant. I have worked on the Urban Safety program, presenting at Compstat meetings in various precincts throughout Detroit as well as Lincoln Park. In addition, I work with the DTE Energy Corporate Security team to promote and increase safety for their field workers in Detroit.
I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a specialization in Security Management. During my time at MSU I completed an internship with the Michigan State Police in the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center where I performed open source information gathering and assisted on various projects relating to intelligence and crime analysis.
